VISION

To help individuals become aware of their self limiting beliefs which hinder their personal and professional development so that they may maximise strengths minimise limitations and set achievable goals for themselves.

Some of the issues that Miriam has helped clients deal with have included issues of control, emotional distress, inability to clarify thoughts and feelings, a lack of vision for the future as well as co-dependency. A great deal of issues come up during the sessions and Miriam can help you separate them and sort them into manageable parts, then work with them one at a time. The process, once the client is involved becomes the most fascinating work a person can do him/herself.

TESTIMONIALS

Anthony: Sydney

I have known Miriam Greenfield for over two years, during which time I have experienced great candour in her friendship and help.

Miriam continuously impresses me with her depth of knowledge, her commitment to truth, and above all, her sensitivity to the needs of others. Miriam has a thoughtful and understanding personality and has personally shown me great empathy and support in regards to a recent family predicament, for which I will always be grateful.

With my own artistic endeavours, Miriam has shown continued encouraging support. She has without doubt strengthened my will to achieve individual goals, coaching me in such attributes as responsibility for, and dedication to, my art.

Miriam has become a much-valued friend, and I wish her every success in her ambitions in the fields of coaching and counselling.

With sincerity,

Anthony Woodward

Barbara: Hong Kong

Miriam worked with me over a period of several months during a very difficult and seemingly hopeless time of my life. Her excellent counseling skills made me feel very comfortable and allowed me to open up to the real issues that I was having and her patient listening-skills allowed me to realise that I had stopped taking life into my own hands. There was a point during our sessions where Miriam put on her 'coaching-hat' and I started to walk small steps on my own. Our rapport slipped to the background of our talks and formed the necessary backbone-structure of major life-changing and independent decisions for me

From having been a depressed, aimless person in an unhappy relationship I have moved on to a happy, self-fulfilled, powerful woman with many goals. I finally feel that my life is back on track and am very grateful towards Miriam.

I appreciate her knowledge, openness and honesty and admire the gift she brings to this world as a 'change-agent'.

I like to use metaphors, and so when I think of why I came to Miriam for coaching, I always look back at the state of my head:

Somewhere in your house you will definitely have this door you never open. A door that leads into a tiny room that - knowing the horrible mess you have made there over time - you wouldn't dream going in to. I had already chosen once to take a small peek at what's inside, closing it slowly - always with the excuse that the time was not right. Indeed, what I saw was that  big mess of mine.

In fact this door led to a small and dark room into which I had thrown many, many old things throughout my life, from childhood through teens, to adulthood. I left emotions spilled all over the floor; good, bad, worse experiences, piled one atop the other - the mess was, in short, very messy!!

And so I needed help and I opened the door again, full of confidence that this time round, I was going to tackle this for good.

In all the mayhem, it was the guidance of Miriam that helped me, not to put all in order for me - but to turn on the light and brighten this little old corner of my house.

She reaches out, grabs hold of the light switch and yanks it down - "there, that’s the way to do it" - LIGHT!

Now, with the two biggest hurdles surpassed, Miriam has helped me organize; throw away the superfluous, be ready for the future, thus making appropriate room for more stuff to put in there. My little space is now perhaps not perfect, but at least I have the clarity and vision, the tools to know how to deal with the stuff that’s already there and make good use of it - and where to place things in future.

Turning on the light and showing me some simple tools is my way of thinking of the experience I have with Miriam. I hope you will find this in your search as well. And, don’t be afraid of opening that door – wide!
